The D.154.2 is a wrap-around armchair with a sinuous profile, characterised by a rigid yet cosy shell juxtaposed with a soft upholstered counter frame. The essence of the chair originates from the subtle play of curved lines and the harmonious contrast between rigid and soft elements that make it timeless. One of Gio Ponti's most iconic and representative pieces, designed in 1954 for the Planchart collectors' villa in Caracas (1953-57), is now available in an outdoor version.
